Trim hair to about a quarter-inch if very long. Arrive with clean, dry underarms and avoid applying deodorant, retinoids, or heavy creams beforehand. Also avoid sun exposure or tanning. Wear loose clothing for comfort after the treatment.
Some clients experience temporary redness or sensitivity. We use hypoallergenic waxes and perform careful techniques to reduce reactions. Patch tests are available for those with sensitive skin or known allergies. Contact us if you have severe sensitivities or are on certain medications.
Keep the area clean and avoid heat, heavy exercise, or tight clothing for 24 hours. Apply a soothing, fragrance-free moisturizer or aloe to calm skin. Exfoliate gently after 48 to 72 hours to prevent ingrowns, and avoid antiperspirant for 12 to 24 hours if recommended.
You should not shave immediately before waxing — hair needs about a quarter-inch to be effective. Also avoid deodorant immediately prior; it can interfere with wax adhesion and increase irritation. Arrive with clean, product-free underarms for best results.
