If you've shaved recently, wait until hair reaches a quarter-inch (about two weeks) before waxing. For sensitive skin, we recommend a patch test and the Ocean Secret Wax, formulated to soothe and reduce irritation during hair removal.

Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and care. Regular waxing can reduce density over time. Follow recommended exfoliation and moisturization routines to prolong results and prevent ingrown hairs.

Ocean Secret Wax contains protective, hydrating ingredients designed to minimize irritation, but allergic reactions are possible. We perform a brief patch test when requested or for sensitive clients and will advise alternatives if any reaction occurs.

Waxing is generally safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding, though increased sensitivity and skin changes may occur. Many prefer the second trimester. Inform your esthetician about pregnancy, and consult your healthcare provider if you have specific medical concerns.

Aftercare includes avoiding hot baths, saunas, and intense workouts for 24 to 48 hours, using gentle cleansers, and applying a light, non-comedogenic moisturizer. Begin exfoliating gently after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and promote even regrowth.
